The Town Hall will be CLOSED if area schools and other offices are closed due to bad weather. Town Hall will be closed on all observed holidays.

Lis Friemoth is a born and raised Walworth County farm person who has proudly called Spring Prairie home for more than 40 years. We thoughtfully chose this beautiful, peaceful place to live and raise our children. And we have enjoyed the benefits of living here. It's my turn to give back. I'll work hard to maintain a rural community where all have the opportunity to prosper. I believe in civility and cooperation. I will remain transparently open and honest as we all work toward improving our community.
The results of many years of education include a Bachelor of Science with a Business Minor from UW Whitewater and a Master of Urban Planning with a GIS Emphasis from UW Milwaukee School of Architecture & Urban Planning.
Work experience encompasses years spent in a couple of Fortune 500 corporate research departments, more years as the Horticulturist for Walworth County, and currently, I'm hitting the 18 year mark as sole proprietor of my own horticulture consulting company.
I am pleased to have served the community as an active member of the Spring Prairie Planning & Zoning Committee, on and off, since its inception.

Lynn Lein purchased her farm in Spring Prairie in 2004.
While working full time in the lab of a large health care provider, she started a small poultry farm. After purchasing the farm in 2004 and the passing of her father in 2007, she left the medical field and continued to grow the poultry farm to what it is today, Yuppie Hill Poultry.
She has two sons who are licensed electricians who now help run the family poultry business. Her daughter has several degrees for environmental management for air quality and land use.
Lynn enjoys the outdoors, from gardening to hiking to camping. Being in nature is what she likes to do best, when time allows a break from the farm.
She has proudly served as a Town Board Supervisor since her election in the spring of 2019.

Before becoming a Town Board Supervisor, Jeff joined the Spring Prairie Planning Commission in 2021. A veteran leader in the secondary materials/recycling industry, Jeff has a degree in Agriculture Business Economics from Southern Illinois University. Currently Senior Director with Donco Recycling Solutions, he is the former Owner/President of Northwest Paper Company.
Jeff and his wife Julie moved to their small farm in Spring Prairie in 2013. Jeff values the rural lifestyle, enjoys his animals and all things outdoors, and is active in the community at large. He strives to give back in life through service at the Town level and beyond. He is a current member of the Rotary Club of Burlington, and a former church treasurer and elder.
