Mike and his wife Gayle came to Spring Prairie in April 2014. They thoroughly enjoy the people, peace, and beauty of this area. Mike enjoys working on the land and spending time with Gayle, their horses, and pets. His goal is to do the best for the town as possible, retaining the desirable landscape and lifestyle we have all come to appreciate. He hopes to achieve that by keeping eyes and ears open to those who contribute, participate, and care for this community.

Mike is retired from 39 years of service to Scot Forge, a major employee owned metal forging company. He started in the trade as a blacksmith and progressed through the company to retire as corporate director of forging development. He was fortunate to have earned leadership roles stemming from a single crew, to managing a shop, to finally as corporate director.

Mike previously served on the Planning Commission from 2021 until now, and will continue to serve as a Trustee representing Spring Prairie on the East Troy Area Emergency Services District. He looks forward to the chance to serve this town in a new role.
