General Information

The Spring Prairie 4-H Club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Spring Prairie Town Hall, N6097 State Road 120 (STH 120 & Potter Rd) at 7 p.m. Our club has short but informative meetings (usually about an hour). Occasionally meetings take place at an alternate site. There is no meeting in August. October is the club banquet at the fairgrounds.

New members can join the club at any time, but November marks the beginning of each 4-H year, so it’s a good time to join the fun! Youngsters in kindergarten may join the 4-H Cloverbuds, as limited participation members. General membership is open to all youngsters ages 8 (third grade) through age 18.

Participation in the Walworth County Fair (https://www.walworthcountyfair.com/) each Labor Day weekend is the highlight of the 4-H year, but activities are in no way limited to the fair. You can participate in 4-H softball, 4-H Camp, as well as regional and national 4-H events. Our club plans fun family outings, participates in community service, may do a few fundraisers, and generally has fun.

4-H is an activity of the UW-Extension Service (https://walworth.extension.wisc.edu/).
