QUORUM NOTICES

TOWN OF SPRING PRAIRIE

It is probable that a quorum of the Town of Spring Prairie Board will be present at a Plan Commission meeting on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 7p-8p, comprised of members of the town board. No town business will be conducted or voted upon.

This Plan Commission meeting will be held at the Spring Prairie Town Hall, N6097 State Road 120, Burlington WI 53105.

A quorum is the minimum number of a governmental body’s membership necessary to act. One governmental body may define what constitutes a quorum differently than another governmental body. For example, our Town Board is made up of 3 members, therefore a quorum is anytime 2 board members are present together.

Per Wis Statutes: 60.20 (2) Quorum. Two supervisors constitute a quorum of a 3-member town board, 3 supervisors constitute a quorum of a 4-member or 5-member town board, and 4 supervisors constitute a quorum of a 7-member town board under s. 60.21 (3).
